Cmon Now

Right, that's it. Had enough. I'm sorry to put it so bluntly but I need to go to this place immediately. It's called Cartaegena des Indias, and it's in Columbia. I'm going to cash in all my shares in Theosyphillis Neill's Thistlemilk Company (loveyourliverlikestevie.com) . I'll get 26p from these and, say, £14 for the next 20 years worth of poetry earnings, so I calculate I still need about £249,885.74 to live there comfortably with my family for the next 20 years. So please start sending me money immediately. I can wait till the end of next week, but that's it OK? Come on now. Hurry up, times wearing on. No excuses. Get your coats on.

So much for the pride of Scotland...running off to the sun at the first sign of trouble.

Think of it as a temporary 20 year exile in near tropical conditions. I will act as Scottish Consul while there, needless to say, aiding the repatriation of my countrymen.

No talent for money making

But to be a politician, all you have to do is SPEND money. ;)

I found 56 cents in the car; that's not even .40 euros. But I support you in spirit.

Just like Sean after all then.

I'll bring a fiver over later. Camper-van drop-out!

Hope, 56 cents is a start.

Titus, not liike Sean at all. He had lots of money before he ran for it.

The camper van dream is still alive

Tropical sunny climes aren't all they're made out to be. Look what they've done to me!

hmmm .....seems to be one word that doesn't require translation

Interesting. That's a rare series of meditations in tanka form by Shunsuke Nakamura. See how these boys bloom when they manage to get out of the Weege?

It must be what goes through your mind just before you score a free kick from 35 yards against Manchester United
