Meg Burns

Two excellent photographs of the burning of the fire sculpture, both kindly gifted by Kim Ayres. They appear in his blog kimayres.blogspot.com. For some reason I can't get my link thingie to work, so if you want to view another excellent local blog you'll need to type the name in. Thanks Kim.

Thanks for the heads up!

They look better on a black background :)

What a magnificent sculpture! Don't worry Shug, I liked your photos too! Just been busy with multiple changes at work that I'm not happy about.

But visiting here always cheers me up! My map is now framed and will be hung over my desk when I get home. This weekend I pledge to hide wherever is necessary to read your book! :)

This would be the effigy I saw burning on BBC Scotland news report.

On a par with the Wickerman but not quite as gigantic but a skillfully crafted sculpture.

They should have left it as it was & set fire to David Mundell (the real thing).
